Estas playas menos conocidas rara vez registran grandes...Take Steps Miami event to raise awareness about Crohn’s and colitis held at Tropical Park

(CNN) — Two empty homes overlooking a canyon slid off their foundations in Draper, Utah, prompting the evacuations of two adjacent residences, officials said Saturday. In October, city building officials declared two clifftop homes “unfit for human habitation” due to “earth shifting that resulted in sliding and breaks in the homes’ foundations,” city officials said in a Facebook post. The city had been following up with the developer for months on engineering studies regarding the stability of the area, officials said.“With the snow pack melting and creating changes in conditions, other homes in the neighborhood will be evaluated for safety concerns,” said the Facebook post. “At this time, only the two adjacent homes are being evacuated.”Draper officials closed two public trails following the slide.“Everyone needs to avoid the area. SAN DIEGO (AP) — Freeway, the sea lion rescued after wandering inland from his ocean home and crossing busy San Diego thoroughfares, has been euthanized after falling ill. The sea lion earned his name in January 2022 after being found on State Route 94, a freeway several miles from shore, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. The SeaWorld San Diego team that got him to safety said he’d been previously spotted at San Diego International Airport and in a storm drain in the Logan Heights neighborhood. Since being rescued last year, Freeway had contracted a “progressive disease that our animal care experts diagnosed,” SeaWorld said in statement Friday. “Despite extensive treatment, the disease caused his health to deteriorate over time,” the statement said. Given his decline, the team made the decision to humanely euthanize him, SeaWorld said.Freeway was first rescued in November 2021 when he was found on a busy road near North San Diego Bay.
